RB Lewis and WR Schroeder both ran in the 4.50 area. DE Jack, though, only ran in the 4.90 area at 265 pounds. Same for MLB Warren who timed out in around 4.90.

TE Clark Harris also ran, hoping to improve on a somewhat disappointing 4.79 40 time at the combine. Harris reportedly timed his two 40s yesterday one in the low 4.7s and one in the low 4.8s. Harris claims, though, that he’s running on a foot that is still not fully healed from a late season injury.

LB Andrews (6-0, 236) timed in the mid 4.8 range.

Comments: All NFL teams were in attendance, including head coaches Mike Tomlin of Pittsburgh, Rod Marinelli of Detroit, Mike McCarthy of Green Bay and St. Louis’ Scott Linehan. DE Woodley who did not workout at the combine turned in some decent numbers when the 6-1.5, 265 pounder posted at 38-inch vertical leap and ran the 40 in the low to mid 4.7. Woodley also participated in both DE and LB drills and reportedly was solid. The big news at the UM workout though may have been that DT Branch, a potential top 10 propsect, reportedly looked out of shape.
